Love jihad and Narcotic jihad..

new anti-conversion law passed in India’s most populous state, Uttar Pradesh, is being used to prevent inter-faith couples from getting married. Media reports suggest right wing groups are preventing interfaith marriages by claiming it involves “forced conversion”, or what they call “love jihad”.

Love jihad is a term used by Muslim groups to suggest Muslim men seek to deceive Hindu/ Christian women through marriage and convert them to Islam.

Under the new anti-conversion law, passed on November 28,2020. interfaith couples must now give two month's notice to a district official before getting married. Currently, under the Special Marriages Act, 1954, that governs interfaith marriages in India, couples must give a notice of 30 days.

The new law has criminal aspects, too, including a jail term of up to ten years if convicted of using marriage to force a spouse to change their faith. Parents, siblings and “any relatives” by marriage and adoption can complain against a conversion. Such marriages can also be nullified. The burden of proof lies on the persons converting, or those counselling the persons to convert, to prove the conversion isn’t forced.

Love jihad is happening every where in India. So called Narcotic jihad is also a part of it. Everybody knows this but nobody talk about it. Recently A prominent Catholic Bishop in Kerala ( in his speech occured inside the church towards his Catholic community ) claimed that young men and women, belonging to the Christian community and other non-Muslim faiths, were being lured and targeted through means such as ‘love jihad’ and ‘narcotic jihad’ in the Kerala state.

He said In a democratic country like ours, since it’s not easy to use weapons to destroy people of other faiths, jihadis are using means which are not easily identifiable. In the view of jihadis, non-Muslims are to be destroyed. When the objective is expansion of their religion and destruction of non-Muslims, the means they use are of different forms. Two of such widely-discussed means today are love jihad and narcotics jihad,” he alleged.

“For objectives such as exploitation, forced religious conversion, making financial gains and employing in terrorist activities, jihadis are trapping women of other faiths through love or other means. As soon as women turn 18, they are being trapped through love, forcibly taken away without the consent of their parents and family members. They are often abandoned after a few years of marriage. Such incidents are rising. Fathima, who got converted and went to Afghanistan, was a Hindu woman named Nimisha. Sonia Sebastian, a Christian, similarly became Ayesha. These are just a few examples. How are Hindu and Christian women like them ending up in terrorist camps is a serious subject to be studied,” he said.

The Bishop went on to claim that schools, colleges, hostels, training institutes and business establishments were being used by ‘jihadis’ to lay traps and lure young women. No one will accept but it is a real fact. He also claimed the existence of ‘narcotics jihad’ through which the lives of youngsters belonging to non-Muslim faiths were being destroyed by getting them attracted to the use and sale of drugs and narcotic substances.

Now what happening in Kerala is the prime example of what the so called minorities real attitudes towards others. One way or other Love jihad and Narcotic jihad is real and it's started in the year 2012.
